- 3 cups buttermilk biscuit baking mix
- 1 1/2 cup Kentucky Legend Half Ham; finely chopped
- 4 cups cheddar cheese; grated
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons dried Parsley flakes
- 2 teaspoons honey
- 1/3 cup milk
- 1/3 cup bourbon
Holiday Sauce:
- 1 1/2 teaspoons cornstarch
- 2 teaspoons honey
- 1/4 cup bourbon
- 1 (8 ounce) can whole berry cranberry sauce
- 1 dash ground cinnamon
Directions
Bourbon Ham Balls
Heat oven to 350 degrees F. Lightly grease jellyroll pan. Mix all ingredients thoroughly. Shape mixture into 1-inch balls. Place about 2 inches apart in pan. Bake 20 to 25 minutes or until brown.
Holiday Sauce
While the ham balls are cooking, make the holiday sauce. In a heavy saucepan over medium heat, combine the cornstarch, honey and bourbon until smooth. Bring to a boil over medium heat; cook and stir for 1-2 minutes or until thickened. Remove from the heat; stir in the cranberry sauce and cinnamon until blended. Serve warm with the bourbon ham balls.
