Cranberry Ham

A delightful blend of sweet and savory.



  1. In a large skillet over medium heat, melt butter and cook the ham for 3-4 minutes until browned. Bring water and sugar to a boil in a saucepan, stirring until sugar is dissolved.
  2. Add 3/4 cup of the cranberries and simmer, covered, for 15 minutes.
  3. Add orange rind to cranberry mixture.
  4. Combine ham with cranberry mixture; pour all into baking dish.
  5. Bake, uncovered, at 350° for about 20 minutes.
  6. Pour on remaining cranberries and bake an additional 15 minutes.
  7. Remove from oven and salt and pepper to taste.
